Today's Generation - Devoid of Relationship

Love has been one fancy topic which excites people of all generation(atleast when they were teens). But how it 've worn off from time to time. Do ppl really find time to their realationships and do they really compliment each other nowadays? I ve seen lot of youths working in big MNCs handling their relationships miserably and poorly.I do accept that still there are lot of pure and tender love stories but only a handful of ppl experience it.

I am happy and blessed to be a smalltown girl since the essence of emotions in relationships retain with the ppl around me. You can see an adulteration in one's innocence when they are too much exposed to the fancy stuff in the world. It is exposure which shapes your persona and I always believe education has little effect in it. The thing is that to which side you are exposed to. And No offence; I dint mean all the metro youths. Only few spoilt brats of twitter, facebook generation handle their lives and relationships very miserably.

The corporate culture induces the fire in young hormones with fancy payslips and sophisticated atmosphere to forget the real world around us which makes way to partying and having fun in all possible ways. Everything becomes virtual in this generation. Words from computer keyboard is acting faster than words from your mouth. This is one reason for the popularity of social networking sites.TV reality shows like Emotional Atyachar and few other shows truely reflect the state of poor and unmanageable relationships. Most of them undergo this phenomenon as fun activity and whenever one of the partner experiences a reduction in fun quotient, the crack develops. The most famous mantra for this generation is "Move on" and even commercials such as fastrack uses this mantra for its ad campaign.

Its very difficult to see an intense form of relationship where people are emotionally driven in contrary to the today's world where material plays the key role. Today's generation is definitely "Devoid of relationships"

Ingredients:
Bhajji Milagai - 5

For the stuffing:

Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds
Urud dhal
salt
Mashed potatoes

And for the batter, u can actually buy the readymade bhajji mix.

Method:

1.Slit the chilli lengthwise and remove all the seeds from them.
2. prepare the bhajji batter with loose consistency.
3.For the stuffing, heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dhal, cumin seeds and fennel seeds, add the mashed potatoes, curry leaves and salt..Sprinkle little tamarind juice in the end and mix well. The stuffing is our choice. We can also add roasted peanuts.
4. Stuff the chillies with these fillings carefully.
5. Now dip the chillies in the batter and deep fry it..
6. Serve it with coconut chutney.

For past 2 months,I am busy busy for no particular reason so I cant catch up with my blogging and so is this excuse post(Excuse post??Wat does dat mean??).But today's mood just turned me on to get active and

here I am :-)

Again I am back with something(so-called article) to post in my blog..I thought afterall this is my blog and I am bound to no such rules of publishing oly recipes in a cookery blog. Well,I am always glad breaking the conventional rules..So,I thought of sharing something with my blog fans(I suppose, I ve very few visitors to my blog and I call them my fans)..So,wat I am upto share??Reviews of a book and a movie which inspired me in the recent past..

So,the book I am gonna share abt is "STAY HUNGRY STAY FOOLISH".This book was all about 25 IIM students from Ahmedabad who pursued their dreams inspite of choosing a fancy payslip from some Multinational companies..Those 25 students desired and destined to be entrepreneurs. Each story of a person in this book inspired me in some or other way and the domains they ve choosen excites and thrills me while reading the book.
Eventhough, I dont hold an MBA degree(hey, but I attended TIME classes) I ascertain lot many things and its easily understandable and more precise(I mean, not too technical putting forth management terms). So,the conclusion is "this book is damn good and every aspiring man towards entrepreneurship must give it a try"..I even insisted(actually pestered) my husband to read this.. It is such a good pick and hats off to those 25 guys..

NADODIGAL- Dats the movie I wish to share and The very word excites me a lot and I cant hold back the excitement when i talk abt this movie. Before I talk abt the movie, I want U to read the history of getting to watch this movie.I heard ppl saying this movie was good but I really dint show much of interest to watch dis(I dono y..) and one fine day when I am surfing on de net(asusual, some useless, geeky stuff),idea of watching some movie striked me n i finally ended up with NADODIGAL..

(Courtesy:Youtube..Can U believe I watched dis movie in youtube bit by bit)..
Never before, I ve come across such a realistic story and I just cant resist myself from speaking abt the movie to every possible creature tried to made a conversation wit me..So I thought Y shouldnt I post a review abt this movie in my blog..I am a complete movie freak and dis movie was a delight..After watching dis movie, I ve become a die-hard fan of SASI KUMAR(look at his slang and casual dialogue delivery..There is something dat make ppl crazy abt him) and every character in this movie deserves appreciation and hats off to the entire crew!!So,I can hear U screaming "When r u gonna talk abt de movie?"..Again,the laziness get into my nerves and turned me off to end the looooooong story..So ppl,"Go watch de movie and entertain yourself"..C ya!!

Butter Naan

There are various versions of naan and I always love to ve a butter naan because of its easy preparation and the melting taste of it. It can be made using tawa and microwave. Here I am using oven to make this recipe. The advantage of using the oven is that we can prepare multiple naans at a time.

Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour or maida
½ cup unsalted butter, cold
3/4 cup plain yogurt or milk
3 tablespoons of hot water
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons active dry yeast (Make sure its freshly bought store yeast and not an opened one)
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 egg (pure vegetarians can avoid this
1 tablespoon of olive oil

Method:
In a large bowl add the 3 cups of flour and butter. With your hands, blend the butter into the flour.
Stir water and yeast until yeast is completely dissolved. Now make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the yogurt, sugar, egg, salt and yeast mixture.

Knead into the flour and until the whole dough collects into a mass. It will be wet and sticky.
Wipe your hands clean and oil them. Now knead the dough with the oiled hands until smooth
Cover the bowl and let the dough rest until doubled in volume; about 4 hours. It is essential to keep the dough sticky for the microwave preparation of naan.

knead for a minute and divide into equal portions

Preheat the oven to the maximum heat.
If you have a baking stone; place it in the oven. Arrange a few of the naans in a single layer on the ungreased baking sheets or directly on the baking stone. And bake until they are puffed and brown, 4-5 minutes.
Brush the naans with butter while serving.
Serve hot.
